The short version
Fuel Log collects nothing. There is no account, no ads, no analytics and no tracking. Your vehicles and fills stay on your phone.
What is stored, and where
The vehicles you add and the fills you log are saved on your phone, inside Fuel Log. The iPhone app also keeps a second copy in its own private folder, so a phone that clears web storage cannot lose your log. Your phone's own backup, iCloud or a computer, includes it the way it includes any app.
The home screen widget reads a short summary of the vehicle you use: its name, the last fill and the next fill estimate. That summary stays on your phone too.
What leaves your phone
Nothing, unless you send it. A backup, a spreadsheet export or a monthly card only leaves when you press the button and pick where it goes. Where it goes after that is up to you and that app.
The iPhone app never goes to the internet, with one exception: opening Support Fuel Log in Settings asks the App Store for the tip prices, and leaving a tip is paid through Apple. Fuel Log never sees your card or who you are, and keeps no record of who tipped.
The website
The web version is served by Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare handles basic request details, such as an IP address, to deliver the page. Fuel Log never receives them and keeps no logs of its own.
Children
Fuel Log is fine for anyone and collects nothing from anyone, children included.
